BORUSAN PIPE

Zafer Atabey started his career at Borusan Boru in 1991 and played an active role at the company's Marketing and Sales department for 10 years. Having been appointed to management of Vobarno - Italy plant as Trade Manager in 2001, Atabey was appointed as General Manager of the said plant in 2005. 

Atabey, who returned to Turkey after such experience, was appointed, in 2008, as Vice President of Sales and Procurement at Borusan Boru, and, in 2013, as a member of Board of Directors of Borusan Pipe US Inc. Having been appointed as Vice President of Borusan Boru Executive Committee in 2015, Atabey has been Borusan Boru CEO and President of Executive Committee since January 2017. 

Atabey graduated from Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Boğaziçi University. 

Anıl Karaca, throughout his career which he started at PWC as auditor, took over management of Financial Reporting and Financial Control functions at Anadolu Efes from 2004 to 2012. After working as CFO at Efes Kazakhstan organization from 2012 to 2014, Karaca worked as CFO at Çelik Motor FROM 2014 to 2016.   Karaca, who led the company's financial leasing function, held different managerial positions at Şişecam Group from 2016 to 2022. After working as CFO of Düz Cam group from 2016 to 2017, Karaca acted as General Manager of Şişecam Otomotiv from 2017 to 2022. Karaca has been Member of Executive Committee in charge of Financial Affairs and Foreign Trade at Borusan Boru since 2022.  

Karaca graduated from Business Administration Informatics, University of Marmara. 

Uğur Onbaşı started his career, in 1996, at Eleks Dış Ticaret as Export Sales Specialist. Onbaşı who worked at Ekinciler Dış Ticaret in 1998 joined Borusan Boru as Senior Export Specialist in 1999. He acted as Project Manager for 6 Sigma Black Belt Projects from 2004 to 2006 and was appointed as Borusan Boru Raw Material Purchasing Manager in 2007. Onbaşı, appointed in January 2013 as Borusan Boru Infrastructure Project Segment Trade Director, has been working as Vice President of Infrastructure Project Segment Trade and Production since 2015. 

Onbaşı graduated from International Relations in English, Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences, University of Marmara. 

Ali Okyay started his career in 2000 at Borusan Boru as Domestic Sales Specialist. From 2003 to 2006, he acted as a manager for Borusan Group's 6 Sigma Black Belt Projects. Within structure of Borusan Boru, Okyay continued his career in 2006 as Export Manager, was appointed, in 2013, as Automotive and White Appliances Segment Manager, in 2014, as Sales Director for Automotive and White Appliances Segment. After being appointed as Vice President, Purchasing and Supply Chain in 2017, Okyay has been working as Vice President, Automotive and White Appliances Segment, since November 2019. 

Okyay graduated from Industrial Engineering Department, Boğaziçi University. 

Oğuzhan Kuşçuoğlu started his career in 2001 at Maersk Line in the field of business development. In 2004, he joined Borusan Boru as Export Sales Manager and became Export Sales Manager in 2011.  Having been appointed as Export Sales Director in 2015, Kuşçuoğlu has been Vice President of Construction and General Industry Segment since 2017, and Purchasing and Supply became part of his responsibility since 2019.  

Kuşçuoğlu graduated from Economics Department, Boğaziçi University. 

She started her career as an English teacher in 2003. She worked as the Human Resources Manager at Yazaki Otomotiv Yan Sanayi from 2005 to 2014, and she managed Human Resources, Occupational Health and Safety functions. She worked at Autoliv Cankor Otomotiv as the Country Human Resources and Administrative Affairs Manager as well as Autoliv European Region Remuneration and Benefits Coordinator 2014 to 2021. Alhan has been a Member of Executive Committee in charge of Human and Sustainability at Borusan Boru since 2021. 

Alhan graduated from Department of English Linguistics, University of Hacettepe and has an MBA degree from University of Bahçeşehir. 

Serdar Birlikçi started his career in 1995 at Microsoft as part of Technical Support team. From 1996 to 2002, Birlikçi who worked at different positions at Ericsson acted as a manager in different IT fields such as technology and operations, project management, quality and compliance. Having worked as IT Director of such company in charge of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Israel, Birlikçi advanced his career, launching his own venture which offered business development technology solutions. Following such experience, Birlikçi who worked at different positions ranging from Business Solutions Manager to CIO within Pepsico group from 2003 to 2019 also lead Global Agile Transformation across the company. Having worked as CIO at Groupama Insurance from 2019 to 2022, Birlikçi has been a Member of the Executive Committee in charge of Borusan Boru Digital Technologies and New Product since 2022.  

Birlikçi graduated from Department of Electronics Engineering, University of Hacettepe, and has an MBA from University of Sabancı.  

Ingo Riemer, joined EUROPIPE in Mülhim, Germany in 1998, and worked at both technical and leadership positions for 14 years at the said company. Having been appointed in 2006 as Project Manager to design, build and commission Berg Pipe's plant in Mobile, Alabama, Reimer moved to Panama City, Florida as President and CEO of Berg Pipe in 2012. 

Reimer has a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master’s Degree in business administration from Aachen Technical University. 

Joel Johnson started his career in 1992 at Bredero Shaw as Project Coordinator and worked there, from 1992 to 2007, as Project Manager, Operations Manager, General Director for Africa Region, Vice President, Purchasing, for Latin America and, finally, Vice President, Business Development. Having joined Welspun Tubular in 2008 and worked as Vice President for North and South America for the said company for 5 years, Johnson was President and CEO at OMK Tube, Inc. from 2013 to 2014. From 2014 to 2015, he worked at Johnson Piper LLC as Pipe and Coating Advisor. Joel Johnson joined Borusan Mannesmann as CEO in 2015. 

Johnson has a bachelor's degree in Construction Management Engineering and a master's degree in business administration from North Dakota State University.
